Support: [SMME]

The location and nature of the Amandla Resources  BioMass projects will have many spin-off benefits, in terms of both formal employment and entrepreneurial SMME opportunities, in the largely impoverished rural areas, where the available resources are located.

It is anticipated that a whole range of Support-service and Skills training and Development needs will also arise.

Promotion and delivery these service needs could be met via an outsourcing and local-focus BEE-procurement approach that will encourage and underpin the development of new enterprise, in the communities targeted by Amandla Resources (ARD), promoting self-sufficiency and longer-term sustainable enterprise.

Skills development and Training will be provided and supported via the capable resources and established methodology developed at the Zululand Center for Sustainable Development

Linkages to Further Educational and Training institutes (FET and TVET Colleges) will also be provided.

    • A mobile crusher plant will be required with other quarrying equipment and transport equipment.

    • Fines / discard materials from the crusher plant can be used for cement block-making.

    • Hand-sized stone can be selected and fashioned into paving cobbles and building stone with larger pieces being dressed for use as building blocks
